Biochemistry Unit

The biochemistry team performs target-specific in vitro biochemical and cell-based assays for compound screening and mechanistic studies, using the following technics:

  • Ligand binding assays: ELISA, HTRF, and ALPHA platforms
  • Cell cultures: 2D/spheroid/coculture/transfection
  • Nucleic acid analysis: DNA/RNA extraction, nucleic acid hybridization, qPCR, electrophoresis, gene cloning
  • Protein analysis: SDS-PAGE, western blotting, ELISA, flow cytometry, immunofluorescence, quantitative proteomics
