Chulalongkorn Drug Discovery and Drug Development Research Center (Chula4DR) was established in 2017, with the aim to facilitate advancement of academic drug discovery and drug development research by leveraging innovations and sciences across multi-disciplines in academia and utilizing research paradigms used in industry settings. Chula4DR is staffed with full-time staff (FTEs), with expertise in 3 main areas: Medicinal Chemistry, Biochemistry, and Drug Metabolism and Pharmacokinetics and Pharmaceutical sciences (DMPK/PharmSci), working in close collaborations with the other departments and institutes within and outside Chulalongkorn university. The Center is led by a team of drug discovery and development experts, including US BioPharma veterans.
