Chulalongkorn University Drug Discovery and Drug Development Research Center is looking for candidates with the following qualifications.

Computational Chemist

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of M.Sc. or Ph.D. degree in Computational Chemistry, Structural Biology, Bioinformatics, or other related fields.
  • Excellent knowledge of Chemistry related to scientific matters as well as drug discovery and development process is a plus.
  • Be able to do complex molecular dynamic simulation experiment.
  • Be able to use molecular graphic software to interpret protein structure.
  • Strong communication skills (e.g., writing, speaking) with ability to work effectively with cross functional team members, and ability to build strong communication networks across relevant areas.

Biochemist/Cell Biologist/Pharmacologist

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of M.Sc. or Ph.D. degree in Pharmacology, Medicinal Biochemistry, Cell Biology, or other related fields.
  • Excellent knowledge of Chemistry and DMPK, related to scientific matters as well as drug discovery and development process is a plus.
  • Experiences with cell culture, cell transfection, flow cytometry, western blot, and other molecular techniques.
  • Strong communication skills (e.g., writing, speaking) with ability to work effectively with cross functional team members, and ability to build strong communication networks across relevant areas.

Pharmacokinetic Scientist

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of M.Sc. or Ph.D. degree in Drug Metabolism, Pharmacokinetics, Pharmacology, or related fields.
  • Excellent knowledge of Chemistry and DMPK, related to scientific matters as well as drug discovery and development process is a plus.
  • Experience in one or more of the following areas is highly desirable:
    • Drug metabolism and drug transporters or Pharmacokinetics
    • In silico and in vitro ADME approaches or Bioinformatics in drug discovery
    • Modeling and simulation approaches used in drug discovery and development
    • Quantitative or qualitative analysis using LC-MS/MS.
  • Strong communication skills (e.g., writing, speaking) with ability to work effectively with cross functional team members, and ability to build strong communication networks across relevant areas.
